About Me
I'm Katherine Sidnell, a 29-year-old freelance journalist who has worked for multiple national publications, including: The Sun, The Evening Standard and the Mail on Sunday.
Before I became a journalist, I spent five years in academic publishing in an FTSE 100 company. This means I'm used to working to tight deadlines with a range of stakeholders and constraints.
Although I specialise in women's issues and entertainment journalism, I have covered almost every conceivable type of story during my career.
Having graduated with an MA in Magazine Journalism from City University in June 2022, I am now looking for my first permanent role, but I am available for freelance work and casual shifts as well.
You can reach me via the contact form or social media.
